In pursuing my minor in astrophysics, I became an observation night teaching assistant. This was my first experience setting up telescopes and explaining objects visible in the sky to others. These experiences greatly motivated my journey after USF — getting my MS in Astronomy from San Diego State University where I continued to host observation nights for students, and then starting my career as a planetarium educator at the Eugene Science Center.”
