Other

Professor Walsh has Professor Walsh has continued nurse-midwifery clinical practice for more than 30 years. Her practice has always been in communities in which women and children face challenges to access to care due to poverty, language and disenfranchised status. She has also remained active in the American College of Nurse-Midwives and serves as Northern Regional Representative for the California State Affiliate of the organization. She has been a member of the California Maternal Quality Care Collaborative Pregnancy Associated Mortality Review Board since 2008.
