Open Enrollment: October 28 - November 15, 2013
Benefits & Wellness Fair – Wednesday October 30, 2013
Open Enrollment is the period of time each year when you can add, remove or change your benefits coverage. Any changes you make will become effective January 1, 2014.
In preparation for Open Enrollment, now is a good time to refresh your knowledge of the university’s benefit offerings, what is changing for 2014, and consider any updates you should make for the year ahead.
The deadline for Open Enrollment changes is 5:00pm on Friday November 15, 2013.
If you don’t submit changes by that time, you will continue to be covered by your current 2013 elections with the exception of enrollment in Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) and USF’s childcare subsidy which require annual re-enrollment. You will not be eligible to make mid-year changes to your enrollment unless you experience a qualifying event during the year, for example, marriage/domestic partner registration, divorce, birth of a child.
Note: Spousal surcharge waivers must also be submitted annually.
