Please join University Ministry (UM) in celebrating the life of Fr. Pedro Arrupe, SJ, the 28th Superior General of the Society of Jesus (1965-1983). Amidst a period of great social upheaval, Fr. Arrupe called for Jesuit institutions to remain rooted in a faith that promotes social justice, and to educate men and women for others. To recognize this important figure in Jesuit history USF is installing a statue of Pedro Arrupe near the UM office. We invite you to join in the following events to welcome the addition of this significant piece of art to the USF campus.

"Nothing is more practical than finding God, that is, than falling in love in a quite absolute final way. What you are in love with, what seizes your imagination, will effect everything. It will decide what will get you out of bed in the morning, what you do with your evenings, how you spend your weekends, what you read, who you know, what breaks your heart, and what amazes you with joy and gratitude. Fall in love, stay in love, and it will decide everything"
