The Hebrew language program at USF is small and unique.
The program consists of Hebrew I, offered in the fall semester, Hebrew II in the spring semester and Hebrew III in the following fall semester. We also offer Hebrew IV and V for those who wish to continue their Hebrew studies. Upon completion
of this sequence the student will have a basic fluency in the language.
Professor Esti Skloot is the director of the
program since its inception fifteen years ago.
She is a native of Israel
who has taught Hebrew at various universities during her extensive career. Esti Skloot teaches in an engaging and
interactive style which includes the following components:

- Interactive games
- Audio materials
Why study Hebrew at USF?
