The study of physics incorporates a variety of other disciplines and fields. The USF physics curriculum opens up multiple paths for subsequent development, including graduate studies in science (physics, astronomy, math, chemistry, biology, etc), engineering, medicine, law, and other fields.

Our major and minor curricula focuses on preparation within the physical sciences, as well as an astronomy minor for nonscience majors. USF Physics, additionally, provides the basis for students interested in a 3/2 physics/engineering undergraduate degree program in conjunction with University of Southern California.
