Beginning in Fall, 2011, USF will kick off its University of San Francisco in the Presidio Lecture series. Each year four lectures will be presented addressing issues that face the Presidio, the city of San Francisco, and the state of California. These lectures will be presented in collaboration with the Presidio Trust and will take place at our beautiful facility in the Presidio. Topics will range from local/state politics to sustainability, the environment, the diversity of the Bay area’s population, the intellectual and social climate of the area, and a host of other topics relevant to this magnificent place that we call home.
