Barbara Domingo
Associate Director and Adjunct Professor
From 2003 - 2007, Ms. Domingo was Director of Investor
Relations at Santa Clara, CA-based Align Technology, Inc., a $200+
million medical device company that manufactures and markets
Invisalign braces. While there, Ms. Domingo more than tripled
sell-side coverage and increased institutional ownership by more
than 300 percent. Ms. Domingo implemented and upheld a commitment
to effective communications between shareholders and senior
management during several significant events in Align
Technology's life cycle, including a 400 percent market
cap increase, a financial restatement, and a 2-year intellectual
property lawsuit. Under Ms. Domingo's leadership, Align
Technology won awards for two Annual Reports.
Prior to her post at Align Technology, Ms. Domingo was the head of
Investor Relations at Versata, Inc., a $57 million software company
based in Oakland, CA, and iXL Enterprises, Inc., a $360 million
Internet consulting firm based in Atlanta, GA. Prior to iXL
Enterprises, Inc., Ms. Domingo was Director of Issuer Services at
The NASDAQ Stock Market, where she assisted private companies with
their initial public offerings and public companies with their
listings on the world's first electronic exchange.
Ms. Domingo began her Investor Relations career in 1995 at
Washington, D.C.-based MCI Communications, a $15.3 billion
telecommunications company, which was acquired by WorldCom in 1998.
During her tenure at MCI, Ms. Domingo targeted institutional
investors, managed analyst days and events, and established the
individual investor program.
She has been a member of the National Investor Relations Institute
since 1998.
