Jason Klein
Adjunct Instructor
Mr. Klein has over 15 years experience working for a variety
of sports properties in marketing and sales. He started at the Los
Angeles Lakers as an intern in the sponsorship department after
graduating with a B.A. in Psychology from University of California,
Riverside. Following the LA Lakers, he worked for one of
WPP's event marketing agencies on brands such as Miller
Beer and Sears. He returned to the property side working as
Director of Sales and Marketing for California Speedway (now Auto
Club Speedway).
Jason spent the last 10 years working in baseball for the Los
Angeles Dodgers as Director of Corporate Partnerships and then as
Vice President - Western Region for MLB Advanced Media (mlb.com).
In 2010, Jason launched 88 Marketing where he works with sports
properties to help with their sponsorship sales efforts. He also
consults with properties on how to monetize their digital assets in
additional to working with brands on their overall sports
marketing.
