Adjunct Professor, received his PhD in French Literature from
Vanderbilt University in 2011. He was born in Alabama and grew up
in California's Central Valley. His research interests
include religion and philosophy in literature, French intellectual
history and utopian thought, and religious issues concerning
contemporary France. He enjoys both scholarly and creative writing
and wrote his dissertation on French novelist Michel
Houellebecq.
