Did you know that USF has an excellent career services center that
not only meets career needs of current students but also USF alumni?
Personal assessment of skills, interests and styles is the key to
charting a career path for many individuals.
Among the personal assessment tools available at USF are the Myers-Briggs
Type Inventory, the Strong Vocational Interest Inventory, and the
Campbell Interest and Skills Survey. After completing an assessment
instrument, individuals (or groups) are eligible for follow-up consultation
with a career counselor to help in interpreting results.
In addition to personal assessments, the center provides career
counseling services, access to job announcements and placement programs,
an excellent career development library, career and employment workshops,
networking, and a comprehensive set of printed materials to guide
career choices and job searches.
While there are charges associated with certain testing services
and with services to alumni, these fees are nominal in comparison
with the benefits offered. For information about how to explore
these services, contact us at FBC.
