Did you know that USF has an excellent career
services center that serves not only current students but also USF
alumni? Personal assessment of skills, interests, and styles is the
key to charting a career path for many individuals. Among the
personal assessment tools available at USF are the Myers-Briggs Type
Inventory, the Strong Vocational Interest Inventory, and the Campbell
Interest and Skills Survey. After completing an assessment
instrument, individuals (or groups) are eligible for follow-up
consultation with a career counselor to help in interpreting results.
In addition to personal assessments, the center provides career
counseling services, access to job announcements and placement
programs, an excellent career development library, career and
employment workshops, networking, and a comprehensive set of printed
materials to guide career choices and job searches. While there are
charges associated with some testing services and with service to
alumni, fees are nominal in comparison with the benefits offered. For
