Rev. John Koeplin,
S.J., is an associate professor of Accounting. He has been at USF
since January, 1998. He completed his doctorate in Accounting at the
University of North Texas in 1998. His areas of research interest
include financial accounting, business ethics, and accounting education.
Prior to entering the Jesuits in 1981, he worked at Hood and Strong,
CPAs, and at ROLM Corporation as a tax accountant. John Koeplin is
a California CPA.
John was ordained a priest in 1991. He heralds from San Jose, the
7th of 10 children. His parents still reside in San Jose and his siblings
are scattered in San Jose and across the US. He currently lives with
22 Jesuits at their new USF residence, Loyola House.
