Thank you for your interest in participating in The Gellert Foundation Family Business Center’s study of the relationship between parent and child working together full time in the family business, and of factors that affect the nature and quality of the work relationship. We are interested in any of these combinations of a parent and an adult child working together full time: father-son, mother-son, father-daughter, or mother-daughter. We need the cooperation of both parent and child, but either one can enroll the family in the study.

Your family’s participation will help us to get a statistically meaningful number of men and women from family businesses across the US. The study only takes between 15-25 minutes to complete, once you are enrolled.

Research Process

	To enroll, please fill in the fields below so we can mail you the study materials. The packet we will send contains a separate questionnaire for parent and child. Parent and child are asked to complete and return the questionnaires independently

Voluntary/Confidentiality
Your participation is completely voluntary and confidential. If for any reason you choose to withdraw your responses, just email us. This research is carried out under the written consent of the Human Subjects Review Board at the University of San Francisco.

Your questionnaire will have a number assigned to it--no personal information such as name or address will be associated with you after the original mailing goes out. The Gellert Family Business Center agrees to keep the names and addresses confidential and under lock and key until discarded. Further, the Center agrees to never use the names and addresses for any other purpose
