UNDERGRADUATE COURSES
 
Undergraduate students will explore the family owned businesses of the San Francisco Bay Area through field trips, demonstrations and interviews with local business leaders.   Some visits will be part of academic course work while other travel will be part of student sponsored activities, seminars etc. On an annual basis the Family Business Center will offer non-degree seminars for the local business community. The topics will vary but will always be open to the parents and relatives of U.S.F students.

Students taking this course will have the opportunity to gain an understanding of the family business as an economic and social entity, learn about family businesses in the Bay Area, and develop career planning skills.

Rosenheim Family visits BA195 class: Larry Young and Mimi Rosenheim, co-preneurial owners owners of AiT/Planet Lar Comic Book Publishing, explain their home-based family business to BUS 195 students.Mimi’s mother and grandmother sit in to make it a full family affair.
