Academic Support

Learning and Writing Center

USF’s Learning and Writing Center offers free services to help students achieve their academic goals. Services include tutoring and short workshops on topics such as time management, note taking, and following research guidelines. The Writing Center is staffed with faculty consultants who will work with students to improve their writing skills through one-on-one interactive conferences tailored to meet individual needs. Students at the regional campuses may visit the main campus for services or receive assistance electronically. For more information regarding specialized services available for students, please visit the Learning and Writing Center’s website.

Student Disability Services

Student Disability Services, “SDS,” helps all USF students with disabilities serve as fully contributing and actively participating members of the University community while acquiring and developing the knowledge, skills, values, and sensitivity to become women and men for others. Toward that end, SDS promotes a fully integrated University experience for students with disabilities by ensuring that students have equal access to all areas of student life and receive appropriate educational support and services to foster their academic and personal success. For more information, please visit the Student Disability Services website.
