Digital Signage Project
The Digital Signage Institutional Rollout project will enable the USF community to request installation of digital signage in their departments. An online request form is being developed with a pilot of the workflow process taking place in February, 2013. Requesters will meet with Web Communications, Facilities, and ITS to determine the feasibility of the requested signage location, the content displayed on the digital sign, and a final quote of costs related to the installation for budget approvers. Upon a successful pilot completion, the request form will be available to faculty and staff to request digital signage to enhance communications in their department. Please contact Mike Trautman at mbtrautman@usfca.edu with any questions related to the Digital Signage Institutional Rollout project.
Faculty Prehire Onboarding Process
The Faculty Prehire Onboarding Process project has been initiated by Human Resources after various hiring departments approached HR in 2011 to discuss ongoing issues with the electronic personnel action form (EPAF). the first phase of this project was to develop the process for the USF Staff. That project was completed in 2012. The second phase of the project, which is specific to faculty, will provide faculty new hires at USF network needs such as email, USFconnect, purchasing, PCard and other required new hire "umbrella" information on their first day of employment.
The project scope will cover streamlining the EPAF form and the dependency of the form for the faculty new hire (although the form will continue to be used for audit reasons), develop a documented onboarding process to include all five colleges for full time faculty and adjunct faculty (this process will be inclusive of all "new hire faculty" which will be clearly defined through the project scope).
The results of this defined and documented process are expected to provide a better onboarding experience for all new hire faculty and improved access and services for all hiring departments.

against implementation, the priority and urgency, and the requested
start and completion dates. Required fields are indicated by a red line
