Ellyn Moscowitz

Assistant Professor and Director of Advocacy Skills

Assistant Professor Ellyn Moscowitz is an experienced trial and appellate lawyer specializing in labor/employment and class action litigation. She was a partner at Van Bourg, Weinberg, Roger and Rosenfeld before starting her own firm, The Law Offices of Ellyn Moscowitz, which represented building and construction trade unions and engaged in wage-and-hour class action cases. Moscowitz taught previously at Chapman University School of Law and as an adjunct at Golden Gate University School of Law. She has extensive appellate court experience. She also serves as a mediator for the U.S. District Courts in the Northern District of California. She teaches Litigation Skills and Appellate Advocacy, and coordinates the appellate advocacy competitions.
