Adjunct Professor Paul Harris is the directing attorney of the Center for Guerrilla Law. After graduating with honors from Boalt Hall, Harris clerked for a federal judge. He co-founded the San Francisco Community Law Collective, which was a multi-racial law office and had a policy of equal salaries and decision-making among lawyers and secretaries. The collective won community service awards from the San Francisco Board of Supervisors and Centro Legal. Harris has been included in three editions of Best Lawyers in America. He formerly served as national president of the Lawyers Guild and is the author of the critically acclaimed book Black Rage Confronts the Law. Harris teaches Guerrilla Lawyering.
