How To Get Involved

As USF Alumni you are an integral part of our family. We invite you to explore the many ways you can stay connected to your alma mater — as a mentor, a volunteer, a host, or a fan: reunions, athletic events, special guest speaker events and receptions are all here for you to enjoy.

Join The USF Alumni Network

Founded in 1881, when USF was still St. Ignatius College, the USF Alumni Association is more than 88,000 strong.

Spread across all 50 states and more than 110 countries, USF alumni include two San Francisco mayors, a U.S. Senator, four California Supreme Court justices, a California lieutenant governor, two Pulitzer Prize winners, an Olympic medalist, more than 270 Peace Corps volunteers, and a former president of Peru. Their success reflects the value of a USF education.

Become a Mentor

donshelpingdons

The new USF Dons Helping Dons Mentorship Program is a LinkedIn group connecting USF students with alumni and faculty who mentor them by providing advice, information, and support.

How the Program Works

1.Create or update your LinkedIn Profile.
2.Both students and alumni join the LinkedIn Group "USF: Dons Helping Dons"
3.Connect with students/alumni who share similar career or academic interest.
4. Set up a time to meet over coffee, email, a phone call or Skype!

Post and Search for Jobs

USF's Online Career Management tool allows employers to post job offerings as well as internships. To access the tool, you must first create an account and submit your information for approval. Approval takes between 1-3 business days. Once your account has been approved, you will then be free to post job listings as well as internship opportunities available to our current and graduating students.

Launched in 2008, the Discovery Project was designed to engage alumni ambassadors in active dialogue with recent graduates of USF. In just over two years, Discovery Ambassadors met with more than 1,000 USF alumni across the country and heard their USF story. Please click here to read the Discovery Project final report and learn more about what alumni had to say about their USF experience and their hopes for USF in the future.

Donate

The financial support we receive from alumni and friends of USF is a key component in our efforts to provide a quality education to tomorrow's leaders. Donor support provides vital resources to our students, such as the opportunity for student teams to compete in national and international competitions, for new faculty to launch their careers at USF, and for staff to create new advising and mentoring programs for undergraduate and graduate students.

Your support helps us provide business and professional education in the Jesuit tradition now and for the future.
