Jonathan Barsky has been a professor at University of San
Francisco since 1985, and was granted tenure in 1991. Since he
began at USF, Jonathan has brought his expertise in customer
satisfaction to the School of Management.
Michael Becker has worked with the University as a member in
committees such as the Academic Standards Committee and the
Research Awards Committee, and has recieved the Outstanding
Teaching Award for the School of Business & Management.
Professor Karl Boedecker has been teaching in the School of
Management at USF since 1976. Karl has a PhD in Business
Administration, along with an M.A in Economics and a J.D from USF
Department Chair / Associate Professor
Shenzhao Fu is internationally known for his research
examining the effects of western multinational companies on
consumer perceptions in China. Shenzhao has been a professor of
Marketing and International Business within the McLaren School of
Management for 20 years.
Leslie A. Goldgehn is known for her expertise in both
marketing and leadership development. She has spoken at many
universities, including Prague University of Economics, University
of California, Berkeley, and University of California, Davis.
Nicholas Imparato is a professor of marketing and management
at the University of San Francisco and a research fellow at the
Hoover Institution, Stanford University. During multiple university
leaves of absence he served as a senior executive and board member
of publicly listed and closely held firms here and abroad.
Term Assistant Professor
Stan joined the School of Management with 30 years of
international business experience. Prior to joining USF in 2009,
Stan was the Worldwide Program Director for IBM Marketing where he
held numerous management positions in North America, China, India,
Germany, and Russia.
Sonja Martin Poole is an Assistant Professor of Marketing. Her
research interests center on the intersection of culture, business
and policy. She received her Ph.D. Education Policy and Management
from the University of California, Berkeley.
Dave Scalise is a Full Professor of Business Law at the
University of San Francisco and for many years has taught Business
Sweta Chaturvedi Thota came to University of San Francisco in
2008 from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
Ricardo Villarreal De Silva is an expert in multicultural
consumer behavior. In the United States Ricardo has extensively
studied the role of ethnic identity and core cultural values in the
consumer behavior of U.S. Hispanics
