- Community Engaged Faculty: Study alongside social justice focused faculty committed to building compassionate and innovative migration frameworks.
- Immersion and Practicums: You have the choice of completing a semester and volunteering in Mexico City, as well as participating in immersion visits to our Southern and European Borders.
- Specialized Research: Develop a final research project that speaks to your own interests and career goals by completing a traditional master’s thesis, applied project, or publishable article.
- Successful Alumni: MIMS graduates are making remarkable contributions to the defense and advancement of migrant and refugee rights; they work with agencies and organizations as diverse as the Center for American Progress in Washington DC to the State Legislature of Arizona.
