English as a Second Language

In addition to the ESL courses listed below that are offered for matriculated students, the ESL Program offers non-credit intensive English courses for international students. The intensive program offers classes five hours a day,five days a week, Monday through Friday, a.m. - p.m. for individuals interestedin improving their English skills for academic, professional, or personal reasons. The courses offered are Grammar, Academic Reading & Writing, Listening, Speaking, Seminar Series, English through computers, TOEFL preparation, and U.S. Culture. The intensive program is offered year-round and has open enrollment. Individuals with intermediate and advanced proficiency levels are accepted.
