Election Day is Tuesday, November 6! Polls open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 8:00 p.m. VOTE EARLY and spread the word!
Come by UC 1st Floor to celebrate at the ASUSF Election Day Party at 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., followed by McCarthy Center’s Election Watch at 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
What You Need to Bring
In most cases, a California voter is not required to show identification to a polling place worker before casting a ballot.
However, if you are voting for the first time after registering to vote by mail and did not provide your driver license number, California identification number or the last four digits of your social security number on your registration form, you may be asked to show a form of identification when you go to the polls.
Find Your Polling Location
Your voting location is printed on the back of the sample ballot booklet you receive by mail. Find the county offices where you can check your polling location and the status of your voter registration online or by phone.
Vote by Mail
Any registered voter may vote early by a vote-by-mail ballot. Download the application; it must be received by October 30th. Voted ballots must be returned before the polls close at 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. For more information on the vote-by-mail process, click here.
