The USF Office of Diversity & Community Outreach, the USF School of Education, and the Omega Boys Club, presented, "Urban Education: Reframing the Conversation about the 'Achievement Gap'," on February 22. The assembled guest speakers and panelists lead the well-attended discussion, addressing the current state of education and its effects on disadvantaged students in urban schools. Panelists included Patrick Camangian and Noah Borrero representing the School of Education Teacher Education Department and the M.A. program in Urban Education and Social Justice.
