The Research Methodologies and Statistics website is designed to help people across the university connect with each other and share information about research-related issues. On the website you will find

  • newsletters/posts to keep you informed about research issues at large and at USF
  • links relevant to statistics, methods, and technology 
  • directions for signing up for the faculty listserv, (this is an in-house network providing you with the best practices about research life at USF).
Want to learn more about best practices in research methodologies on your own?
CARMA: Center for the Advancement of Research Methods and Analysis provides web casts and a video library and discounts on short courses, on the topic of research methodologies for all subject disciplines as well as technical support for statistical software. CARMA can be used both as a tool for consultation and continuing education. The Gleeson Library-Geschke Center’s subscription to this service makes it available to faculty.

Need to get SPSS onto your computer?
The SPSS Installation Request Form is available on the Information and Technology Services web site. Packages may also be purchased through the Faculty Development Fund.
