Building on San Francisco’s cutting edge efforts in sustainability, this event focuses on engaging the community in dialogue about the role of higher education in moving towards a more just and sustainable society.
Professor Julian Agyeman's work challenges universities to go beyond the narrow approach to sustainability that focuses on measuring resources consumed. His message resonates with USF’s social justice mission and our approach to sustainability that places social equity and diversity on par with the goal of sustaining ecological resources.
