The Department of Modern and Classical Languages
(MCL) offers Majors in French Studies, Japanese Studies, and Spanish, Minors in
Chinese Studies, French Studies, German Studies, Japanese Studies, and Spanish Studies,
and a Certificate in Japanese Studies. The Department also offers a wide
range of foreign language urses that count toward college foreign language
requirements. Languages covered include: American Sign Language (ASL),
Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Latin, Portuguese,
Russian, Spanish, Swahili, and Tagalog.
