MPH 693 - Cultural and Linguisitic Preparation for Healthcare (1-2)

This elective course will prepare students working in health care to respond with sensitivity to the needs and preferences that culturally and linguistically diverse patients/consumers bring to the health encounter. Students will learn strategies to provide culturally and linguistically appropriate services (CLAS), so that access to care, to quality of care, and, ultimately, health outcomes may be improved.
