The TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language), IELTS (International English Language Testing System), or Pearson Test of English Academic is required of most international students with very few specific exceptions.
The following table shows the minimum requirements for each school or program. When taking the TOEFL, please indicate the USF school code 4850 so that your test score will be sent directly to USF. For programs in the College of Arts and Sciences, including Analytics, please indicate the school code 6996 (Univ San Francisco Arts Sci Grad) so that your test score will be sent directly to USF's College of Arts and Sciences. USF also accepts the IELTS and the Pearson Test of English Academic.
Some programs in the College of Arts and Sciences and the School of Mangement may offer English-conditional admission. Please see the College of Arts and Sciences or the School of Management for more information. The School of Education and the School of Nursing and Health Professions do not offer English-conditional admission.
