Paola Quiceno
I'm a second-year student in the Master of Science in Applied Economics (MSAE) program. I’m passionate about the intersection between economics and human behavior, especially in social and economic contexts, and using technology to uncover insights and bring solutions that can benefit communities, companies, and society as a whole. I earned my bachelor’s degree in accounting in 2018 and spent over four years working as a finance, tax, and compliance auditor, and consultant in Colombia for several companies in diverse industry sectors. Now, with the MSAE program’s STEAM pathway, I’m thrilled to be advancing my skills in data analysis and preparing for a job market full of opportunities.

Dafina Rizvanolli
Hello! I'm Dafina, pursuing my master's in International and Development Economics. Originally from a developing country, Kosovo, I've grown passionate about understanding the challenges and identifying opportunities in fostering sustainable economic growth and reducing inequality. This inspired me to pursue development economics and explore how the tools within policy and economics can make a tangible difference. Feel free to ask me about the IDEC program, research opportunities, or adjusting to a quantitative program without an economics background.

Julia Wellons
I love contributing to the health field and my future career goals involve exploring different areas of medicine and finding projects that I am passionate about. Outside of work, I like to spend my time exploring new places, activities, and food (especially food). My go-to hobbies are hiking followed by all-you-can-eat, coffee-drinking, and relaxing with friends.

Rebakah Zhou
Hi all, I'm Rebekah, currently finishing up my master's in Data Science. After gaining my bachelor's in Mathematics, I spent most of my career as a teacher encouraging students and opening their minds to the beauty of math. Inspired by my own challenges as a teacher, I transitioned into tech through a coding bootcamp and now my masters. Happy to answer any questions about the program, life in SF, or anything I can help with!
