The USF School of Nursing and Health Professions is honored to present Dr. Timothy Chou, an innovative leader in health, as we advance toward our vision of eliminating health inequity and promoting health justice locally and globally while preserving human dignity.
Dr. Timothy Chou will share his journey to tackle one of healthcare’s most significant challenges: reducing inequities, lowering costs, and improving outcomes for children locally, globally, and rurally. This mission led to creating the Pediatric Moonshot initiative, which focuses on developing privacy-preserving, real-time, and trustworthy AI applications. By leveraging data from over 1,000,000 healthcare machines in 500 children's hospitals worldwide, the initiative aims to revolutionize pediatric care at scale.
