Join us for a conversation with Dr. Dan Rascher, Professor and Academic Director at the University of San Francisco, Sport Management Master's Program.

Dr. Rascher has played an integral part in the field of Sports Economics. Dr. Rascher has been impactful in several legal cases involving the NCAA and athlete's rights for over 20 years. His expert testimony in Supreme Court cases like O'Bannon v. NCAA (2014) and NCAA v. Alston (2021) have advocated for student-athlete rights and compensation. Dr. Rascher's economic analysis of NIL created a model that led to $208 million in payments to collegiate athletes.

In addition to his work regarding NIL, Dr. Rascher teaches Sport Economics & Finance and the Master's Project at the University of San Francisco. To meet Dr. Rascher and learn more about his work, join us on Zoom on October 22, 2024 at 12 pm (PST).
