Jalina Porter

Jalina Porter is a humanitarian, entrepreneur, and trusted political advisor. She began her career in service as a Peace Corps volunteer teaching English in rural Cambodia. Throughout Jalina’s career, she has advised and trained several Members of Congress, U.S. diplomats, Corporate CEO’s, and local elected officials nationwide. In 2021, Jalina was sworn in as Principal Deputy Spokesperson at the United States Department of State. As a sought after media and foreign policy expert, Jalina has appeared on MSNBC, CSPAN, MTV, Roland Martin, and various international media outlets. She has also been featured in Elle Magazine, The Zoe Report, Foreign Policy, Roll Call, The Hill, Politico, and Ms. Magazine. Originally from Southern Louisiana, Jalina considers herself a global citizen and enjoys connecting with the world through her expertise in communication through blogging and storytelling.
