Biography
Joshua Mindel is a transformative coach, an educator, an active writer, and a veteran leader of technical programs and teams. His experience spans world-class Silicon Valley organizations, global entities, and multiple sectors (private, governmental, intergovernmental, academic).
As an engineering leader, he is highly intuitive and adaptable, excelling in strategic planning and tactical execution and fostering collaboration across diverse roles and industries. Grounded in technical depth, he embraces a blend of left brain and right brain that enriches technical programs.
His nearly 15-year tenure at Google involved managing TPM teams and leading programs in data engineering operational metrics, resource cost management, regulatory compliance, infrastructure migrations, planning processes, development of new revenue data pipelines, analytics for machine fleet management, datacenter site selection, stakeholder management, and more.
Beyond Google, he has built and led TPM teams at a startup, led technical programs for emergency management in Liberia during their civil war, led infrastructure programs in Vietnam during that country's rapid socio-economic transformation, and led network deployments for government and academic clients. He is also been an MBA professor for information systems, and recently became a certified leadership coach. Years ago, he was a software & network engineer.
