Biography
Dr. Kelly Fox DNP, MN, RN holds a Doctoral Degree in Nursing from Yale University with an emphasis in Leadership and Health Policy and a Master’s degree in Nursing Education from the University of Washington. She is an Assistant Professor and the University of San Francisco's Program Director for the Doctor of Nursing Practice Program, Health Systems Leadership. Over the past 20 years she has focused on the design and implementation of nurse-led models of care. She assisted in developing Corporate Health NW, a nurse managed health clinic, that provided primary health care, advocacy, health consultation, coordination of care and education to employees. During her time at Yale University, she developed an employee-centered model of care that combines on-site nursing care and telemedicine for corporations. This model has been the foundation of her Scholarship of Practice and served as the framework for the development and implementation of the Harrington Health clinic, Foot Clinic, and Holy Cross Clinic.
Prior to coming to the University of San Francisco she held the position of Assistant to Dean for Innovation, Director of Graduate Education, Director of the Harrington Health Clinic, and University Innovation Fellow at the University of Portland School of Nursing & Health innovations.
Dr. Fox is a Board member of Providence Oregon Community Ministries Board and Sister of St. Mary of Oregon Ministries Corporation.
