Biography

Professor Lacy brings over 30 years of industry experience in data and information management to his role as the Faculty Lead for the Business Analytics Major at the University of San Francisco’s School of Management. Professor Lacy is an expert and thought leader dedicated to bridging the gap between industry trends and academic excellence. His work prepares the next generation of business leaders by equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive in business analytics, information systems, and data management.

Professor Lacy’s teaching philosophy emphasizes practical, real-world applications of business technology. He designs and delivers curricula that reflect the latest industry trends, ensuring that students are well-prepared for the challenges they will face in their careers. In addition to his role as Faculty Lead, he served as the Director of the Master of Information Systems (MSIS) Graduate Program, where he was instrumental in exploring the digital transformation of modern business enterprises.
