USF Moves Up in U.S. News Graduate School Rankings

USF’s graduate programs remain among the best in the nation, according to new rankings from U.S. News & World Report.
In the 2026 U.S. News Best Graduate Schools rankings published today, USF’s master of science in nursing program jumped 45 spots to 27th, placing it in the top 20 percent of MSN programs nationwide.
Other highlights:
- The doctor of nursing practice program rose 36 spots to 57th.
- Tax law moved up 35 spots to 67th.
- The School of Management was named a “Best Business School.”
"I’m so pleased to see USF master’s and doctoral nursing programs recognized,” said Eileen Fry-Bowers, dean of the School of Nursing and Health Professions. “Since opening our doors as the first private nursing school in California, we’ve committed our resources to ensuring USF nursing students leave our campus prepared not only for successful nursing and health care careers, but equipped to improve the well-being of patients and communities.”
