Gov. Brown Appoints Two Alumni to Superior Courts
Dickson and Acquisto join the ranks of approximately 300 other alumni—from the Class of 1916 to today—who are or have been distinguished members of the judiciary across the nation.
Dickson was a deputy district attorney at Alameda County District Attorney’s Office since 1999. Before earning her law degree from USF, she graduated with her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
Acquisto was chief deputy legal affairs secretary in the Office of Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. since 2011. He previously served as a supervising deputy attorney general and a deputy attorney general at the California Department of Justice, and was an associate at Mennemeier Glassman and Stroud LLP and Rushford and Bonotto LLP. Acquisto was an adjunct professor at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
