STEAMED features innovative artworks by Department of Art + Architecture Faculty that explore realms of the S.T.E.M. disciplines (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) and reveals the ways in which artists experiment, investigate, and solve problems much like scientists.

Momentum: Women/Art/Technology

A panel discussion of USF female faculty working in hybrid careers with art, science and technology. Moderated by Dr. Paula Birnbaum (Art History/Arts Management), it will feature Rachel Beth Egenhoefer (Design) and Tami Spector (Chemistry) along with representatives in the fields of Curatorial Practice, Computer Science and Engineering. Momentum is a project organized by the Rutgers Institute for Women and Art: Judith Brodsky and Ferris Olin in collaboration with Muriel Magenta, Arizona State University. A reception will follow in the gallery.
