When Merhawit and Meseret Mehzun were looking at colleges, they each had the same wish — to attend separate schools. But after a college-tour trip during high school, each twin, independent of the other, ranked USF as her top choice.
Once again, USF graduate programs rate among the best in the nation, according to new rankings from U.S. News & World Report.
The San Diego Veterans Affairs Medical Center has been renamed to honor Capt. Jennifer Moreno ’10, an Army nurse who was killed nearly a decade ago in an attack in Kandahar, Afghanistan.
In 2014, Merak Melikian Hatounian transferred to USF from a community college near his home in Southern California. He loved his new school: the beautiful campus, the location in the city, friends and classmates.
The USF men’s basketball team gave it their all in their first appearance at the NCAA tournament since 1998, but they fell 92–87 in overtime to Murray State.
