Journalism, Minor

Minor in journalism and engage with the world through reporting and writing.

Students work in small classes of no more than 14 to develop skills in written journalism, and learn to report for a variety of formats, including multimedia. Students are encouraged to leave campus and learn about the city in their reporting assignments, internships and on-campus contributions for the student-operated Foghorn.

The Foghorn makes students' voices heard. We are the only student-written and -produced weekly news publication at USF, and we report the news, opinions, and events that impact Dons.
