The University of San Francisco to Confer Degrees Upon 703 Graduates at Commencement Ceremonies on December 13
SAN FRANCISCO (December 6, 2024) — The University of San Francisco (USF) will hold its 166th commencement ceremonies on Friday, December 13 at St. Ignatius Church on the USF campus. The December 2024 graduates from the College of Arts and Sciences, the School of Nursing and Health Professions, and the School of Management will join more than 125,000 USF alumni around the world.
USF will award 402 undergraduate degrees, 295 master’s degrees, and 18 doctoral degrees, with some students receiving multiple degrees as members of dual-degree programs.
The USF December 2024 Commencement Schedule is listed below. All events are ticketed, and will be held in-person at St. Ignatius Church on the USF campus, as well as live-streamed on USF’s website and YouTube. Friday, December 13
12:00 p.m. - School of Management Ceremony
USF Trustee Faisal Shah JD ’86, founder and chair of Tracer AI in Boise, Idaho, will address 93 graduates.
3:00 p.m. - College of Arts and Sciences Ceremony
USF Trustee Patrick McNicholas ’83, partner in the Los Angeles law firm McNicholas & McNicholas, will address 279 graduates.
6:00 p.m. - School of Nursing and Health Professions
Dean Eileen K. Fry-Bowers, a nursing and public health leader, certified pediatric nurse practitioner, Navy veteran, and a member of the state bar of California with experience in law and health policy, will address 331 graduates.
