The 26th Thacher Art + Architecture Annual

The 26th Thacher Annual highlights over 80 artworks from juniors and seniors, majors and minors in the Department of Art + Architecture. Exploring themes of experimentation, Interlude focuses on practice-oriented approaches to artistic development, honoring the variety of methods undertaken by each student artist. The artworks, selected by a jury of three artists and a curator, span a range of mediums and styles—from digital websites and glitch art to accordion books and multimedia collages, from installation works to paintings and architectural renderings. These works invite viewers to consider the decisions made by each artist in their individual creative process. While each artwork is different from the rest, together they demonstrate artists doing what they love the most.
