USF’s Center for Law, Tech, and Social Good is a hub for transformative research, policy advocacy, and cutting-edge legal education. The Center equips future lawyers and leaders with the essential knowledge and tools to advance social good through emerging technologies.

Education
We believe knowledge is the key to furthering equity and integrity in our rapidly changing digital society. We offer first-of-its- kind classes to University of San Francisco Law students so they are prepared to enter the landscape of technology and the law. We also provide trainings to government officials, policy makers, and the public about the policy and regulatory landscape of emerging technologies.

Chris Brooks
Christopher Brooks is a professor in the Department of Computer Science at USF, with a joint appointment in the Department of Engineering.

Brandon R. Brown
Brandon R. Brown pursued doctoral training in superconductivity, with postdoctoral work in science communication.

Robert Clements
Robert Clements is an assistant professor in the MS in Data Science program and the Director of the Center for AI and Data Ethics.

Johnathan Cromwell
Associate Professor Johnathan Cromwell's research focuses on how people collaborate with each other as they define, solve, and change problems while working on creativity and innovation projects in organizations.

Jessica Fajfar
Jessica Fajfar is the Director of the Internet & IP Justice Clinic and Assistant Professor, where she supervises the USPTO Trademark Program.

Moira Gunn
Professor Moira Gunn is a former NASA scientist, engineer and software programmer. Gunn is internationally recognized for her work with global biotechnology business and emerging global information systems.

Megan Roberts Hutchinson
Megan Hutchinson is an Associate Professor of Legal Writing whose courses include Negotiation, Legal Research, Writing and Analysis, Employment Law, and American Legal Studies.

Tiffany Li
Tiffany Li is an Associate Professor of Law at the University of San Francisco School of Law, where she teaches intellectual property and technology law courses.

Nicole Phillips
Nicole Phillips is an Associate Professor of Legal Research, Writing, and Analysis at the University of San Francisco (USF) School of Law.

William Riggs
William (Billy) Riggs, Ph.D., AICP, LEED AP is a professor at the University of San Francisco School of Management and the Director of the Autonomous Vehicles and the City Initiative.

Shivani Shukla
Dr. Shivani Shukla teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in the application of machine learning and AI to business.

Christina Tzagarakis-Foster
Professor Tzagarakis-Foster's research has focused on Nuclear Hormone Receptors, a large family of eukaryotic transcription factors that play key roles in a diverse array of physiological and developmental processes.

Ellen Veomett
Ellen Veomett is a mathematician and computer scientist whose research has involved metric geometry, graph coloring, and graph isoperimetric inequalities.
