Program Overview

USF's LLM program will equip you with the skills and specialized knowledge to launch a tax law career, or move your existing practice forward.

Program Structure

Offering online courses and both full-time and part-time enrollment options, the LLM program can be customized to meet your needs. In addition, our 7 week classes offerings are ideal for the working professional who never has to be in class during tax busy season.

Most courses are offered online, allowing students the ultimate flexibility to earn their degree in a way that works for them. Like the in-person courses, our online courses are taught by our preeminent full-time faculty and adjunct professors and include weekly opportunities to work with the professor and collaborate with other students. Using the online learning platform, students access course materials, view multimedia content, and work on course assignments.

Each term courses are offered on a 7 week schedule, timed around the U.S. Tax busy season with fall classes beginning after the October 15th filing deadline, spring classes ending the first week in March and summer courses running in June and July. The program is headquartered at USF’s Downtown Campus, in the heart of San Francisco’s financial district.
